Are those two cats related? Wow what a size difference. My two cats are very different in size too. But two different breeds of course.

Cody I think is a Norweigen forest cat, or has that in him, has a mane, and has very fuzzy fur. He's a big boy, they say they don't mature until they are 5 years old. He's all gray with white running down his tummy. His tail finally filled out, he looked so funny before.

Mitzy, is all black except for her white tummy and paws, and white whiskers. She is a muscular cat, much leaner than Cody. But she is spunky!

When they play Cody always lays on this back, and let's Mitzy be the sumo wrestler. I think he learned because of size difference, he let's her get the best of him. Mitzy is a toe snapper(bites at Cody's feet, sometime you can hear her mouth snap...hehe), so funny to watch her...thank goodness they get along now.

I don't know her background, but I feel sad for her, 3 homes....and she gets really happy with things I do, that must be similar to her previous owners. Like when I brush my teeth, go to the bathroom...yes....and going to sleep at night. She get's very friendly, must be the things she remembers from all owners. I hope one day, her happiness will include other things.
There's nothing wrong with that thing...TAKE IT!

SB has a black kitty who is a munchkin.

Cute, but a real "lowrider" cat.

Picked up Bleu at the Vet today along with his recent medical records.

Drove him to a well known and HUGE animal rescue sanctuary located way out in the country.

Bleu was not a happy camper. Meowed for at least 1/2 hour first part of the ride.

1 1/2 hours later we arrived. Very secure, Fenced in, Video cameras, Everyone has Moto_rola business class radios, They gave me an access code to enter at the main gate.

Young girl met me, Took Bleu to the on site Vet along with the med rec's for futher evaluation.

I spent a little over an hour there meeting all the Cats.

He is now a resident of "Kitty City".  Very large building with fenced outer yards. They have wire mesh covered Catwalks.

He was hiding under a fixture while I was there looking at me like "Why are you doing this to me?"

I was met by a very BIG and FAT gray Cat that looked a lot like Bleu except much bigger and wanted my undivided attention!

If the drive was not so long, I would volunteer couple weekends a month.

Well I'm happy for him, He does not have to travel across 4 lanes of traffic every night with the risk of getting hit.

I also saw "Tripod" Formerly known as LBK (Little Black Kitty) A 3 legged Black kitty I brought their about 8 or 9 years ago.

Laying out in the grass, Enjoying himself, In the "feral" part of the sanctuary.

Maybe later in life I'll see about buying a large mobile home and setting it up on there property and live there, They do need people to stay on site.

So, do they ever adopt out the cats?

Yes they do, But they have a very stringent adoption program. Not everyone gets approved.

They still get plenty of donations, Guess there's still a lot of rich old people around or those that have that site in their wills.

Got an e-mail update on Blue,

He is in a isolation/containment building. Standard operating procedure for rabies, distemper, etc.

The caregiver said he is sitting up on window ledges now looking out the windows watching what is going on.

She is able to pet him but he's still really not to sure about the whole thing yet.

I miss him at the Petgoes when I scope out the bins. His makeshift feeding shelter looks so empty without him.

I'm glad though he is in very safe and loving hands. Too bad he's so far away.

Shot a quick video of Halo sleeping the other day and she was really twitching her paws, whiskers, belley. I 've never seen a cat twitch so much before  .

But it starts at about the 10 sec mark.  Enjoy

Dang, I was very upbeat tonight. Kool finds this week.

Until my last stop.

Left food for Momz in her spot as usual. I have not seen her for about 4 days now. That's really nothing abnormal, It's happened before many times.

Well tonight after I left her food, I checked my last bin. Nothing worth taking.
I went back to my car and sat a bit, Finally I see Momz walking very slowly along the sidewalk, the same route as usual except she's very slow tonight.

I get out of my car and walk over to her, Right away I know she's not her normal self. I've been taking care of her everyday for about 10 years now and I know her well.
I talk to her for a bit and thens she starts to eat. She eats just a few bites then stops. That's all she eats.

I talks to her awhile and she just sits their. I say goodnight and tell her I'll watch over her while she finishes the rest of her food.
I get in my car. Momz leaves, I now know she's not right. That sick feeling starts inside me.

Yeah she's a feral Cat, I've never been able to pet her, But there is still a bond. She trusts me more than she does any other human.
When we first met about 10 years ago, Momz had a very serious upper respiritory issue, Her eyes literally were stuck pretty much shut with dried puss.
She also had 1 small kitten at that time. I gave both medications and they recovered.
I later was able to trap her Kitten and it was accepted by a rescue group.

Momz had another batch of kittens later, before I was able to trap her and get her spayed.

Momz is a Grandma. Fortunately with help from some other Cat people we got the other Cats Trapped all spayed and neutered and released back in there habitat.

Well, Tonight I watched Momz walk away down the very long sidewalk behind orfice depot into the night.

I just got this real awful feeling that this may be the last time I see her.

She may have come by just to say goodbye...
