Doh! Why do we call them wisdom teeth if they're removed?

Do we lose wisdom?  2funny

Getting them pulled is rather unpleasant, so I'm sure getting them cut out is worse.
Hang in there, I will sacrifice a goat to Zeus to watch over you.

All I remember about getting mine out was waking up in the recovery room and wondering how the hell they moved me in there.  Oh yeah, and walking out, about half way to the front waiting room, I realized one shoulder  was sliding along the wall....   I guess that's why they made me have someone come get me.

oh boy, we're gonna scare him worse than he already is  buck2

Handy--make sure you have someone drive you there & back

In retrospect it was not so good an idea when I took the bus back alone weak as a kitten, woozy, hiding my bloody bandage-packed mouth behind a  book, clutching at fences to support myself the blocks between the bus stop & home  idiot2

Same way for me!  They just stick in the IV and you go right to sleep.  (I hate needles, but it wasn't too bad Smiley )  Woke up in another room, very out-of-it.  I don't think I had any pain at all.  Just ate soup and apple sauce for a couple days.
